R.I.S.E. trains volunteer tutors to provide access to evidence-based reading intervention to ALL children.
This full day, hands-on training is for those interested in volunteering with the R.I.S.E. program as a tutor. Participants will receive the information, skills and tools needed to begin helping a struggling reader. (Including multi-sensory techniques and resources to teach letter recognition, letter formation, letter sounds and finger spelling)
Students will only be placed with a tutor upon successful completion of the full R.I.S.E. tutor training.
